Dr. Turnera Croom is a Holistic Veterinarian who served her country in the Army Veterinary Corps and retired as a Major. After working with the US Department of Agriculture, she decided to start her own company, Steadfast International LLC and opened Dr. Croom Mobile Veterinary Service, which allows her to provide professional, holistic veterinary care right inside people’s homes. From its inception, Steadfast International has been committed not only to excellent veterinary care, but to the education of youth about potential careers in vet med. In 2016, Dr. Croom created her unique Future Veterinarian Program, where young students who are interested in animals and their care, meet with her in various pet supply stores to learn directly from a veterinarian what it takes in this exciting field. She is also working on expanding her new Ride-Along Program, which allows high school students to join her on actual house call veterinary appointments to learn what it really takes to deal with patients and their sometimes nervous owners. In addition, Dr. Croom has created her own brand of CBD pet products that she markets to her veterinary clients in person and on her website. She also serves in various capacities for organizations such as: Buddy 2 Buddy Veteran Volunteer Program, Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), and is a member of the Kalamazoo County Animal Services and Enforcement Advisory board.
