OSU collaborates with family veterinarians to improve pet care

Pet patients now have better access to healthcare at Oklahoma State University’s (OSU) Veterinary Teaching Hospital thanks to a multi-region collaborative effort.

OSU is working with family veterinarians as an extension of their practice, in order to better serve animals. This initiative enables veterinary professionals to have access to specialized equipment and training through the school, when necessary.

The hospital’s primary teams consist of board-certified veterinary specialists, a fourth-year veterinary student, veterinary technician, and intern or resident. The staff includes 30 veterinarians who are experts in areas ranging from anesthesia to zoo medicine.
