Meagan Painter
BIO
Dr. Meagan Painter is a Board Certified Veterinary Dermatologist® practicing at Angell-West in Greater Boston, MA. She graduated Tufts University Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine in 2014 and completed a one-year internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Angell Animal Medical Center in 2015. For the three years thereafter, she practiced as a resident in veterinary dermatology with Veterinary Healing Arts in East Greenwich, RI and the Animal Dermatology Group in California. Dr. Painter proudly achieved Diplomate status with the American College of Veterinary Dermatology in 2018 after completing residency training, publication, case report review, and a 2-day written certification examination. Prior to coming home to Boston, she practiced for two years in San Francisco, CA at the San Francisco Veterinary Specialists. Dr. Painter lives in the Boston area with her husband (Andrew, U.S. Coast Guard, retired), daughter (Claire, record holder for playground sprints, age 3.5 years), allergic cat (Stella), loyal house cat (Chips), and outstandingly adorable Boston Terrier (Pepper).
